FREE Credit Report
Get your FREE credit report…
A periodic review of your credit report is very important. Identity theft in the U.S. is very rampant, plus consumer credit reporting agencies notoriously report inaccurate information on consumer credit reports. Because of this, each year, millions of consumers are denied car and home loans, and are issued credit lines with excessive interest rates.
Due to the above, you should frequently review your credit report to ensure that the information being reported on you is 100% accurate, complete, and up-to-date. This is especially a must prior to applying for credit, insurance, employment, or an apartment lease.
GOOD NEWS…
Under federal law, you can now request a free copy of your credit report:
- Any time a company denies your application for credit, insurance, or employment (you must ask for your credit report within 60 days of receiving the notification).
- Once a year if you’re unemployed and plan to look for a job within 60 days.
- Once a year if you’re on welfare.
- Once a year if your report is inaccurate because of fraud, including identity theft.
