We hear about bankruptcy so much on the news and what not, but most of us don't really understand what it means to become bankrupt (other then not really having any money at all). I really enjoyed reading this article, and find your writing style to be very easy to understand as well. Many people (like myself) don't want to have to wade through all of the legal jargon if it can be avoided, but we still have the right to understand what is going on and our options when hard financial times hit us. While I'm sure there are scenarios where filing for bankruptcy would be the better choice, for most people I think debt settlement would be a good idea as you seem to make the case for in this article.
